Time travel in your sleep

Weird. I fell asleep tonight at 9pm, absolutely shattered and expected to wake up in the morning all fresh and ready for a big weekend. I have Friday and Monday booked off for a long weekend of stag night goodness.

Weird thing is, I woke up feeling fresh as a daisy, looked at my watch and saw it was 9.15, had an excellent nights sleep and with no alarm to wake me up at 5 a good lie in too, it was just what I needed.

I've just spent the last 15 minutes thinking its odd that its getting darker and not lighter and only now do I realise that its 9.40PM not AM.

Fookin weird. Power naps fucked me up and stuff.

The End.

WHO IS JOHN GALT?
*Smashes seal skull*

I've slept almost a whole 24 hours before. I woke up so lost and thinking how weird it felt to lose a entire day. It's not right man!!

Admin?

Anybody who ever works night shifts already knows what it's really like to have a broken body clock... Cupidstunt was probably having some sort of coke-induced seizure

I think I was just weirded out by turning off my alarm clock for the first time in months and going to bed knowing I didn't have to be up early. Waking up 15 minutes later feeling totally refreshed and thinking I'd been out for 12 hours was strange, had dreams and everything in those 15 minutes. Best sleep ever.

Still woke up early this morning even though I didn't have to be up, now I got to wait for a courier to swap my monitor, if he gets here early I'm gonna slip out and watch Batman before going out on the sauce tonight.

something similar happened to me July 5th 2001 in thailand.

it was about 11pm everyone was asleep but for 6 hard core drinkers and me.
we where sitting outside round a table drinking some evil moonshie.
i say drinking, i was onto my 3rd shot when i decoverd i was pissed, and decided to 'retire' for the night.
i could barely keep my eyes open and could just about walk.

i saw my bed and fell onto it in a heap.
then nothing......

woke up what felt like hours later, only to decover it was a full 20mins, not hours.

in so much pain you wouldn't believe.
i hurt all over, i can only guess it felt like i had some jungle virus coz it was like i was tripping.

3 days i spent on the floor, unable to move.

other than that time, im a pretty dam deep sleeper.
it can take me some time to get off, but once im out.
That's it, i ain't waking up AT ALL unless someone wakes me up.
