GCSE Results

GCSE's must be getting easier. My eldest just phoned me to tell me his results.

English A
French A
IT A*
German A*
History A*
English Lit. A*
Maths A*
Science A*
Additional Science A*

If he thinks he's getting a present after failing miserably in French and English he's got another think coming!

GCSE's are definitely getting easier. For one, when I did them, Wikipedia didn't exist and to learn for any subject meant trips to the library.

Going rate when I did GCSE's was £100 for every C and above. Made £800 notes getting half A's half B's, don't think A* existed then. That was in 1994 so with inflation they've got to be worth £150 a piece now but because they have gotten easier make it £150 for every A and above.

Admin?

You fucks... I got six A's, a B and a C (back in the very early days of GCSE's, much like Cupid) and what reward did I get? FUCK ALL!

My Mum can expect a very angry phone call later

You were probably a good boy who studied for kicks. (Although I find that very hard to believe).

I was a bit of a cunt when I was younger (I KNOW you find THAT hard to believe), I liked to fuck around a lot but I was also a money grabbing little shit so a bribe linked to results was a stroke of genius by my saintly god like parents.

::Linnets, is your lad going on to do A-Levels now? They're supposed to be easier than a fat bird.

Yeah - he's going to do A Levels. Wants to be a solicitor apparently. I remember thinking that would be a good idea when I was about his age. D/D/D at A level kinda scuppered that for me. I was a lazy little fuck though. Still am come to think of it.

He's just done the interviews with the local and regional rags today about his achievements. They asked him if he thought the exams were easy. As if he was gonna say yes!

Little cunt has just started getting paid to play football too. Some fuckin kids eh.
