AWRITE FANNY BAWS ?

Auto Dialing

I was asked the other day by my dad who works in Security if there is a way you can auto dial a number with either a pc or a mobile phone.

You see he has to make check calls every hour to a certain number and enter a pin number after the call has been answered.

He is a lazy old bugger and wants to sleep most of the night but can't because he has to make these calls.

I was saying that there might be some way of automatically dialing a number but to wait until it's answered and then type in another number I'm not so sure.

I had a quick google search but coudn't see anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

It's love baby!

Yeah where EXACTLY does your dad work? Is there anything of value there? If so, what EXACTLY is his shift hours and days?

Bitter, miserable twat.

Would probably be possible with a PC + modem + Outlook. Add the number as a contact, then set up a recurring event in the calendar with a macro attached to call the contact (and maybe even enter the PIN as well).

Or maybe that's too much work.

The One, The Only

some phones have the ability to long dial (hint a , adds a pause on these). that is for credit card or calling card dialing. check the settings for a credit card dial capability, it allows you to set the pattern, control the pauses between sets of numbers, etc.
