i hope someone here can save me the endless quest of googling for this..

I'm looking for an RSS Ticker type of thing
it must be a ticker, scroller that goes along the bottom of the screen like the one on BBC news.

there's quite a few RSS readers out there that in my experience all work differently
and I've just about given up googling and downloading then installing and uninstalling these things ffs.

Check out Wizz for ff. I have it, but never really bothered to play with it much (though on the few occasions I did I felt as though I should spend time getting to know how to integrate it properly into my ff...but...meh...).
