Dts/Dolby Digital es proper playback

So, n3wbe be me here has tryed all i can to get true, proper sound from my Super beast 9950, but to no avail! i can get it when playing the rips through my Direct show audio and like wise on my Music X-fi, but when i fire ANY of my disks up(hd, Blue-ray or even old lamo DVD's) all i can get is 2 chanel crap azz, and when i quiry the disk with anyone of the 3 or 4 codec tools, its being broadcast in the proper format. So im trying to finger out how to not only corect that issue, but also be able to transcode the hd & BRD i have been amasing! i havent been able to hit 100% cpu utilization yet, and my old rig i could rip the HD disks in about 24-48 hours, so id realy like to rip this stuff corectly!
