bout to order me up a ps3

Ok, I've had my 360 for about 6 months or so, it's been a great system overall. I like the HD capabilities of the thing, I decided to try and watch a DVD in it tonight and the damn thing won't load a dvd movie.

I tried three different DVD's and all were purchased.

1. Uncle Buck
2. Diana Krall: Live in Paris
3. Harry Potter 4

I only got this message once, It said HDCP link lost, and I can't find anything on Google about it.

I unplugged the HDMI cable, unplugged the power cord, unplugged my external HDD, and tried the other DVD's. I don't know what's causing this, has anyone heard of this before? I was previously able to watch DVD movies.

Anyone got any other ideas?

::EDIT:: Accidentally put this in the wrong forum, lol. The thing still plays everything else, just not DVD's. I don't get it. It'll play media files from DVDR's, I don't get this one bit.

After thinking about the problem for about 2 hours, I figured since it said HDCP link lost, it had something to do with my HDMI cable which crossed my mind earlier so I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it didn't work.

So after a couple I decided to try using my component cables that came with the system and viola it worked, So I got excited and plugged my HDMI cable back in and guess what? It fucking works. I don't know how that happened. It should never have happened as far as I'm aware.
