Meh

Video: 8/10 (could be a little sharper)
Audio: 5/10 (bad distortion where there's heavy bass, like explosions and gunfire)
Movie: 6/10

I watched the entire release from start to finish and I was also probably one of the biggest Max Payne fans there ever was. The game franchise has a history with me (it's basically how I met my best friend of 12 years). I saw a lot in the movie that was taken from the games and I also saw a lot that was completely different and unexpected. All in all, it doesn't do the game justice and it's really no different from your average action flick.

It was worth a watch, but I'm still kind of disappointed.

although this ALLiANCE rip still seems to be nuked for bad AR...

dash rip AR seems fine with Max.Payne.UNRATED.PROPER.DVDRip.XViD.SUBFIX-DASH
there is some debate about whether DASH rip is overcropped on the right, seems fine...

ps. i don't even know what to think about Max.Payne.2008.UNRATED.REAL.PROPER.DVDRip.XviD-iFN
or

(top left) -DASH......: over-cropped on right
(bottom left) -iFN.......: over-cropped on right + should be 1CD
<bottom right> -Larceny...: clean cut and sexy
We also provided two (2) forms of subtitles for this release:

l-max.payne.unrated-subs.rar : subtitle for only russian dialogue
l-max.payne.unrated-fullsubs.rar : subtitle for entire movie length

We hope this will be the last and final xvid release for this movie
which should have been the first and only release!
