aspect ratio on this is 1.85:1, nice, but on imdb and amazon they state that the aspect ratio is 2.35:1... which one is it? other than that, enjoy this nice release for the retail dvd isn't due out until July 7...
V - 9 looks good, 2cd
A - 1 no foreign dialog subs! good AC3 though.
M - 6 not bad, definitely slow at points
come on NeDiVx, give us the non-english dialog subs. there's a lot of it in this movie. you can still follow it, but it definitely sucks. full English and Thai subs are included.
video and audio good - movie i havent watched it all
Biggest complaint is the english subs included are for the
WHOLE movie which is annoyin and the subs print
isnt very clear
the subs that are really needed should only be for
the asian parts
Hope this post is okay. It should not be 1.85:1 AFAIK. I worked in a theatre when we had this movie and it was of 'scope' aspect ratio which is usually exactly or around 2.20:1.
Pretty good movie. Kept me guessing the whole way along (not predictable at all). Needs subtitles for the chinese speaking parts but you can sort of dope out what they are talking about. Doesn't detract all that much from the movie.
