Although I usually agree with what you say Charly, the sample thing i dont, if the release is from a group i trust then i trust the sample, and im not going to download the whole release to find out its shit, if i was on a T3 connection then maybe.

I cant say ive found a film where the sample differs from the full release, but maybe ive been lucky.

This looks great from the sample, i dont really fancy the film so i wont get the full thing.

i never trust samples,

im just going by past exsperiences, ive looked at many samples, and thought woo this great, then bam after burning, it turned to shit..

example:A-TEAMS steeling harvard sample, looks good, then turns to shit, also groups have the habbit of making the sample amazing on purpose just cuz they know thats what most people judge, and they will get a faster high rating quick.


i like to call the SAMPLE, BAIT
it baits people

so i judge after i burn and throw in the old dvd/vcd player

i guess to each his own

Your telling me the full release of A-Teams Stealing Harvard looks worse than the sample, damn didn't think it was possible.

I usually check the samples thoroughly anyway, check the video and audio bitrates, to see if theres any shit being pulled.

samples should never be encoded separately, but always be taken from the actual release. to separately encode a sample is cheating.

however, it's true, of course, that a group will always try to take a sample from the best-looking section of the movie that they can find...
