Ok boys and girls, I risk alienating my benefactor by posting this review a little more than a month before its release, but its too good to pass up.

Before his return to the famous Hogwart school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry is paid a home visit by a house elf named Dobbins and is warned not to go back to Hogwarts, but despite his warnings Harry returns to find mystery and intrigue waiting for him at the school where he is still famous.

Sure his friends Hermione and Ron both welcome back with open arms, but the Snape, Malfoy, and the gang from Slytherin House still hate Harry with a passion.

Soon sure enough strange things start to happen as Harry begins to hear strange voices, and the students and staff become petrified and no one knows what is causing in, and that is when Harry is told the story of the Chamber of Secrets and the other way to open to chamber to solve the mystery is being the true descendant of Salazar Slytherin the home and enemy of the Griffendorfs.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets remains true to the book and should make for some enjoyable movie watching.

Nothing can top the original, but the 2nd. offering of Harry Potter sure comes close.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is rated PG for mild language, scary moments and an element of violence.

My Rating: a 9.5 out of 10. or a solid A

w00t! Thanks MG. Might sound a bit embarrassing, but i really enjoyed the books and the first movie was 'good'. Hopefully this 2nd movie will be 'good' too.

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

Neither will anyone else. The books are not BY Harry Potter, but actually ABOUT Harry Potter. Once again, the use of the English language here astounds me.

I understand that I'm risking excommunication here, but I'd like to commit some blasphemy and say that I *hated* the first potter movie, and the books at first seemed like they'd have been on par with Dahl for childhood reading, but then I picked up a copy of the Henry Sugar and realized what a farce JK Rowling was.
