Disney has struck gold again in their latest offering into the family film foray.

Based on the best selling novel by Natalie Babbitt, Tuck Everlasting tells the story of Winnie Foster (Alexis Bledel-Gilmore Girls), a teenage girl on the cusp of maturity. Winnie who longs for life outside of her domineering mother played by Amy Irving.

While lost in the woods she comes across Jesse Tuck (Jonathan Jackson), a handsome and mysterious boy who catches her attention. He takes her home to meet his family, parents played by William Hurt and Sissy Spacek take an immediate liking to her, even claiming her as their own. However the Tucks have a deep secret avoiding the Man in the yellow suit (Ben Kingsley), forcing Winnie to choose between staying with her love, or heading back to her mother.

Tuck Everlasting has romance and a storyline only disney can muster, and I recommend it for the entire family.

Tuck Everlasting is rated PG for violence and is 90 minutes long.
