The 'Army of Darkness' 2-disc set was ace. I bought it before Xmas just for the hilarious directors commentary with Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell.

If you like Star Wars, get the EpII DVD, there's some cool extras on there.

For some strange reason I just bought:

Koyaanisqatsi / Powaqqatsi (Box Set)

Prepare for the ultimate DVD experience. Technically dazzling photographic effects, superb cinematography, and stirring musical scores combine to create two of the most extraordinary and breathtaking films in recent years. Influencing untold pop promos and TV commercials, these visual tour-de-forces are released to buy as a DVD box set.

That is the funniest director's commentary. It's almost as good as the movie. Especially when they talk about how Rob hijacked the set one morning so he could have a scene of skelton's pulling naked women in chains. I was on the floor crying.

The next DVD I'm planning to buy is Signs. Maybe this afternoon if I make it out of the house.

For anyone that is looking for ideas, you can't go wrong with the Back to the Future Box set. It's a good price and a great set.

I just ordered the Simpsons season 2 dvd today, it should be here in 3 to 5 days....

I'm thinking of picking up one of the ST TNG seasons, but at $120 canadian they're a little expensive...

Also the Memento special edition is on the list, I might go buy that right now!
