oke, you know how evil and nasty i can be (answer.. very!) so its unusual for mr pho to do anyone a favour, but a friend of a friend asked, so i'll be curteous for once this lifetime. also i like 80s films cos they remind me of having even worse hair than i do now. ahh the memories. anyway.

Oh No its not some shitty telesync/cam of Just Married or fucking Kangaroo Jack it must be shit. Well guess what. The people who are involved in the real scene, not the fucking XDCC shit or whatever half you people use, are movie fans. The people who build up the real sites, the people who put out real releases, guess what.. they are movie fans. The people you love so much putting out the theater releases so your cheap fucking asses dont have to pay some overpaid studio are the people bringing you this stuff too. You see we're trying to educate your dumbasses with some good movies, and also bring you some enjoyment by bringing you the old films you watched as kids, and the cheesy ones we can all have a good laugh at.

You want us to go away, sure we'll go away. But we'll take all those sexy DVDScreeners, TS' and pre-retail DVDRips we also do for you as well. Your stupidity and spitefulness disgusts me, and half the time I wonder why we bother doing the work we do. But I'll tell you why we do.. Because FLAiR only releases on friendly sites, with members who appreciate the work that we do, and we have fun releasing for these people. I couldn't give two fucks what the idiot people on this site think, or any other public site. If warez was for you assholes, we'd give it out in the street. But hell, I like to rant especially when I know I'm right.

Ok about the CVD thing.. Yes we'll do more, its a great format. Half the people who rip screeners would use it if it wasn't for the slight compatability issue, but nobody has even attempted to experiment with it under their proper groups, so hell.. we'll be the first to do that shall we. In case you didn't know (and judging by your intelligence, you dont) CVD is a format that allows VHS rips to be done with a high vertical res comparable to SVCD, but a low horizontal res comparable to VCD and allows a variable bitrate as well. IE its the perfect solution to those who've failed dismally at ripping VHS to SVCD (we shan't be mean and name names, but you know who you are) whilst bringing the standard of VHS rips up.

So thanks to the positive comments from people, we're glad people are liking what we're doing, and thanks to the negative comments too.. its always fun to see who the true idiots are. Go back to your SMR reencoded crap, your subtitled telesyncs (which aren't telesyncs) and your Jerry Springer TV shows, and let the rest of us have fun. VCDs aren't just for 'pirate movies' of those that you can't buy, and that half the stuff we will be releasing are from Out_Of_Print sources, foreign DVDs dubbed with english audio, highquality PDTV rips of movies that are unavailable on DVD and other goodies. Dont like movies and only interested in the "scene" to make a few lousy bucks off some kids in your highschool? Then ignore us and sell yourself out even more, for the rest of you.. enjoy what will come.

I also saw this as a kid, and they show it here on cable at 4 in the morning sometimes. I liked it when i was a kid but haven't seen it in years. Makes me wanna watch Enemy mine or Buckaroo Bonzai, you gotta love the 80's sci-fi...

Hey Pho if you read this i understand where flair is coming from, I don't download many older movies, but my good friend he gets old stuff, even the very old wrestlemania, stuff i've never heard of, from the 70's 80's and encodes them for himself. He tries to preserve the best quality that he can. He wants to share but the only thing he knows is kazaa so i guess thats where he'll share it, maybe kazaa needs people like him to share rare, but real stuff. lol. but i truly understand where there coming from.

hmm i should've made it clearer

the stuff between the blocks was from a note i was sent, i pasted it because i agree with the remarks (to a level) as i think the behaviour on here regarding classic movies is not on. im a great fan of 70s/80s and harder to get films (as everyone knows) and when i see groups putting out them for us, especially when its not a straight forward dvdrip, people should show supportive if they're doing things properly. the release is properly marked and even shows initiative by using a non-standard format to prove there is life outside of VCD/SVCD. if the movie is not to your taste, then move on. its the same when i see HkM etc releases posted here. you may not be a fan of foreign movies, but other people are, and im certainly greatful for the releases that they bring, as they are generally hard to get hold of, especially the cinematic ones. so massive props from me to the groups who dont bring me the latest films in crappy quality, i have no need for em, but you dont see me posting on every thread dissing them.

use your brain before engaging your mouth, as it makes you, and then us in turn, look very stupid.
