i just use nero/alcohol for most things, depending on the task obviously.. if its dvd files (they're called .vob's mate) then i'd have to use nero, but if its an image file then alcohol hands down.

Are you sure you're using the latest version of DVD Decrypter (it's free - grab it from www.dvddecrypter.com). Also, when you say "nero it wont let me pick DVD to burn.." - what the heck does that mean, you can't see the image to select it or you can select the image but you get an error?

:: Edit - Ignore me, you've got a Philips 8601 (http://support.dell.com/support/edo...84/en/specs.htm) - just noticed in an earlier screenshot. As far as I can tell though, the drive is DVD+RW and not DVD+/-RW which may cause problems. Not really my area of expertise though.

Update Nero cos I don't *think* it's recognising your writer. Then check the size of your image - will it FIT on a 4.7gb DVD+R? Also, what did you use to create the image (you said you converted it yourself - from what, with what?). I'm clutching at straws a bit here cos I have a feeling you've got a couple of things wrong, possibly even the conversion.

i got it neversoft thanks for the help this program called Sonic did the job.. but um one more thing does it matter if its PAL NTSC.. it only worked and fit on 1 disc as PAL

If your DVD player can cope with NTSC and PAL don't bother converting, leave the video in it's native format or you'll run into all sorts of weird problems. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "PAL NTSC" as that's a contradiction in terms.
