Pointers

Glad to see the picture is nice, audio is great....POT should take pointers from some better up and coming groups like FRA. Glad to see quality isnt long gone out the scene.....quality was always better than quantity....

Picture is ok, looks overcropped to me. Very blurry, too dark, could be brighter and have more vibrant colors. Good audio, not the best i've heard, but i still don't think this release does this movie it's justice. Sure it may suck, but that might be because it's a 3HR movie, and watching a sorta crappy version makes it hard to actually enjoy it. I myself, am going to see this in the theater..thanks for the great effort FRA. Each movie you guys release..the quality seems to improve. Just what we need, another quality TS group..keep up the good work FRA

::edit:: now that i think about it, CD1 is about 636MB, CD2 is about 627MB, and CD3 is about 454MB. Considering this movie IS three hours long, yes - three hours..don't you think each CD should be about 800MB for the best possible quality? I do..and i'm definately going to pass on this release now that i have thought about this.

dont be fooled by the sample, after scanning thru the first cd. Exactly same silver as POT u can see the wavy lines through the picture. Some major pixilatin on it on scene where the camera is pulled out or there is alot of detail on the screen. Over use of a noise filter to hide the lines makes the picture look blotchy.

Good example of picking a good point to make a sample that doesnt really help you judge the rest of the rls.

surprising.

video = 6 ...omg its the same silver!!! omg lynch these faggots!!!...cut me a break, looks much cleaner than pot rls, still some pixels in action but look smoothed out here.

audio = 9 ....yea that is dts...takes mind off the video washed colors

movie = 6 wasnt as good as anticipated gets even more wierd the more i watch

this release is far better then the ratings ppl are giving it. yes it is cropped but the f*cking pic is nice the sound is nice i'm mean f*ck what do you ppl want.you get a very decent release and you still complain.enjoy the freakin movie and shut the hell up.f*ck it's very watchable and i meam watchable.so get you a bag of popcorn and a coke and shut the f up.

Has anyone checked the sync thru the three disks?
would rather pots cam sound than out of sync TS..not DL either yet so if someone could post about sync it would help me out a great deal

you guys are nuts, i have the of this movie here, and this is not from the silver, the silver doesn't have the green tint in here, is has a blue tint,

i'm fairly certain although NOT positive that they would be accused of using the same Silver as POT...and thats why they included the source sample file sample mpg..

Notice in the sample mpg the pic is far more cropped and sound has a constant hiss...This looks nothing like the other sample included by FRA. The second sample shows a much cleaner pic, and more widescreen than FS looking, although still grainy..and Sound has no hiss of course being DTS sourced...

I refuse to watch this film until an excellent SVCD TS copy pres..or Screener or better...A 3 hour Epic is worth the wait for me...

Deffenatly nicer video then bots releases, still a little blurry but a improvment over pots, video has good colors, and is a little dark, Sound is really nice DTS sound. movie looks watchable

Well done! FRA getting better! So what if they used the same silver for source video? it goes up a grade with the DTS soundtrack i had no hissing on it at all!

Very early rls props out to POT and FRA!
If it is taken from a silver then surely it don't matter about picture source as it is sort of stolen in the first place? Some guy in the USA or Malaysia has cammed this for silver distribution! No group sat in a cinema filming it, bothered to work on the foibles of direct audio!
So who cares! if you like watching 3 hours of average quality video with DTS sound then this one is for you! If you don't care (like most of us) and you just want to have this movie first then the POT version is for you, they won the first rls race!

Hi everyone,

This is the same silver source as Pot's release, this has nice DTS audio but cd1 is out of sync slightly and needs a skew correction of -275 ms. I haven't chked the other 2 cd's yet.

The bottom has been cropped more than Pot's to remove the screen curve, the top is the same as Pot's.

lol im confused. if a group releases semi-good video (POT) and semi-good cam audio (POT) why shouldn't a group be able to come along and IMPROVE on the sound??? I mean come on. If POT can't get DTS than why not let FRA get it for them?? Makes sense to me....I mean THEATRE QUALITY DTS? Or cam quality?? Pretty easy decision there...
