ok, in an effort to sort my sleeping patterns out a little (just come of night-shift and now I'm working day-shift 36 hours later) I had a bit to drink last night so I could get to bed at a reasonable time... IT WORKED! Unfortunately today I have what can only be described as "The sort of hangover you'll tell your Grandkids about in years to come" and it's not good.

I need a cure, because at the moment the urge to puke on my keyboard is almost overwhelming. Thus far I've tried:

1. Paracetamol
2. Pint of water
3. Bottle of Oasis
4. Bottle of Sprite
5. Cheese, Bacon and Pepperoni toasted Panini
6. Snoozing

Suffice to say my head still feels like Para is jogging in it whilst administering an enema to himself and I fear for my life.

Anybody else got any tips that might help me and the other borderline alcoholics we have on the forum?

Hahaha, OMG!

I had a hangover yesterday morning. I chugged some water in hopes of making myself sick and throw up (it didn't work too well, nothing but water and stomach acid came out..oh and some potato skins). I felt a little better after, then I took a super long shower, got out and laid on my bed (completely still) and basically meditated. I laid there for about 40-45 minutes, woke up and went to work.

Just lie still and do NOT think! Idk, it may work!

The hottest/spiciest food you can stomach.

If you can keep it down it'll sort out your hangover in a couple of hours tops. (I'm talking phall, not just a vindaloo.)

If you can't keep it down it'll speed up the time your hangover cures in, but not as quick as if you keep it down tho.

I've heard that but never wanted to try it. If I'm sick from the shit, why would I want more?!? Especially if the thought of the smell makes me woozy!!!

As far as i'm aware, there is only 1 real cure for a hangover. 4 double bacon and egg mcmuffins, 4 hash browns and 4 large still fanta's.

Add Bacon, egg and cheese bagels as required.

Eat the above over the course of the remainder of the day, taking naps inbetween bites and sips. Better than sex!
