Ive been feeling a little spacey as of late, and am looking for a decent space simulation/ combat game with nice graphics.

Hot prospects so far:

Infinity: The Quest for Earth, which looks like everything I could ever want, but its not on my doorstep for another 2 years

Darkstar One is shit. End of.

What else??

Ive started playing freelancer again to get my space "fix"

Tried eve, but the amount of time it takes to get anywhere in the system is just too much for my current workload.

Just a continuation of the prev space theme but this looks interesting. Star Trek Online. Now im not a huge fan of trek but allowing you to work on ships together, travel around inside and have a general mmo allowing planetside exploration is a excellent combo in my books.

Dear NeverSoft

I have an old NEC ND-3520A DVD writer
sifting threw the mountings of tosh regarding 'Modified' firmwares, I'm as confused as
a mime artist in a wakeing up in a REAL glass box.

All I'm looking for is a modified FW that will burn max speed 12x or 16x on any DVD-r

Can you fix it for me ?

got one of THESE the other day.
Windows xp pro doesnt like the surpied installation cd.

I get the 'FOUND NEW HARDWARE' popup so i click
Install from a specific location, Browse to the CD's WIN2K_XP folder and i get 'COULD NOT FIND SOFTWARE ON COMPUTER FOR... MASS STORAGE DEVICE

or words to that effect.

EDIT: Sorry dude i sussed it myself by openin the .inf file and looking for a product name.
googled it and found the driver here

Also, you really should burn slower you know... Unless you need to turn them out quickly so you don't miss the Sunday market
