Finally got this one. And I agree with the above comments in the thread, in a word this version is 'different'. Does not have to be the best quality for the kids, but not quite what a demanding 4 year old wants.

Once again, I find myself being the truth-sayer here for those looking for an accurate and unbiased opinion: this release is FINE. The sound is FINE. The picture, while not the sharpest we've seen, and having rather muted colors, is FINE. My six year old and I are WELL PLEASED with VERiTY's work on this release. This movie was 0-for-2 before this group delivered the goods (remember the horrific and incomplete workprint?).

THANKS GUYS for a Treasure Planet that is just... well... FINE.

ok idk what some of you are reading but he clearly said that he made a vote (including audio) judging from jpegs. i realize that he later changed it but thats not the point. why would he judge the jpegs for audio in the first place? i hate when people do stupid crap like that and i just thought id point it out
