I've never had a problem with my player (a GE 1101P). The voices on my copy are out of sync about half the time. Also the video speeds up in various places, giving it a jumpy look. It pretty much ruined the movie for me.
Maybe I'll extract the mpg's and burn with Nero. I usually use CDRWIN with no problems.
