why does every thread of a CTP release turn into a discussion about vcd complience.....

guess i'll comment then...

are CTPs releases in PAL ?
because althogh my standalone will play both PAL and NTSC, im in Australia where they use PAL and i have never had a problem with any of them, could that be part of it....

yeah, seriously. and the funny thing is that the ctp realeses i have even play on my sega dreamcast vcd player(NOT THE LIKSANG CRACKED DOWNLOAD ONE, THE ONE YOU BUY AND IT COMES WITH A REMOTE)
also it plays on my iMac VCD player, my old compaq 133mgz computer, my PC, my sony dvd player, the list goes on and on

seriously i think it is the way you burn it, try BIN/image tools, or if you are really lazy, find the movies in mpeg form and use ez cd creator

Nice job ctp, glad i didnt get the ftf version. I couldnt help but notice the stuff about who got what in the earlier post.
I will say like I did in a changing lane post that I've seen -The Movoegod, say how good a movie is on here then come on the chan and ask for someone for a copy. But who cares. Keep up the good work CTP.

Great picture, great sound and thanx centropy for the pal encodes which play perfect to me. Please carry on doing what u do best saves me re-encoding from ntsc everytime i get a movie.Its burn and play.

napalmfuzz dude, you need to stop your bitching. I've got a Toshiba 5-disc DVD player and a JVC Progessive scan dvd player, both run fine. I'm not sure what your doing to burn the releases, so why dont you just extract the mpg file out of the bin, and burn it with Nero instead and see if that helps. Otherwise, These CTP are compliant and you just got screwed out of your money for dvd players that are too fussy.

Hey geniuses....they don't release in VCD compliance!!!! Now, for some of us, that isn't a problem....your Apex POS can read it, but some VCD compliant ONLY players can't, because Centropy's releases are 1246 kbps video and 128 kbps audio.....that's not standard compliance.....genius...pay attention before you make an ass of yourself

All I can say is CTP's rls's I dont know why people are saying arent compliant, I use mine on a stand alone DVD player perfectly fine, maybe older ones dont understand the format? Anyway CPT sample much clearer and much more closer to color.

And I hope they do rls spidey which the way it looks, will be inevitable, as for SW EP II I am anticipating a much better rls then CTP's standard, dont get me wrong, Centropy is suberb, but for a movie like that I want much better

And hopefully CTP will remain around for the rest of the year and all the rls's.
