UPDATED REVIEW: I was misled by the excellent sample-- this is *not* FTF's best release ever (I vote for "High Crimes"). The sound IS perfectly in sync (on tv), but the camera is too zoomed-in: we lose about 50% of the picture on the sides. Many scenes have two characters talking, but we don't see either character, just empty space in the middle. Both focus and sound quality run hot and cold-- a few times I felt like the Pacino character while watching it. Maybe it was an artistic statement.....?
If no other version shows up, it's definitely watchable, but I don't think the sample is representative of the vcd's quality. Leecher beware!
Mad props to FTF for speed, as always. Nobody does it faster. [/B]
...and that is why people should WAIT until they watch the film before judging it. You had to go BACK and re-edit your comments because you judged by sample.
I waited until I watched both cds, then noticed bad cropping, "out of focus" at several moments, and the brightness issue. This is by far, no where near FTFs best work, neither is High Crimes.
If you haven't seen Van Wilder, than you can't say High Crimes is their best work -- Van Wilder is, period. Everything else is sh*t, watchable, but sh*t.
