Umm did anyone else notice the little windows error message beeps in this release? I noticed at least 3, 1 early in the film and 2 close together in the Zion fight scene. (and no, it wasn't my computer, I was watching on a standalone dvd player...)

Also some major distortion/artifacts near the end for a minute or 2, but otherwise quite a good copy.

Yea I heard the beeps. Kind of annoying. The sound has some hissing too. Somewhat good picture. Enjoyed it.

Pretty Good full Screen release. Pic does start out brighter and get just a little to dark during the heavy action scenes at the battle of Zion. Sound is very good. I would prefer widscreen, but this will do till retail. Movie was worst of the three imop.

Video-7.8 (Pic a little dark at times)
Audio-8.5 Very crisp audio
Movie-6.5 A little bit of a letdown to otherwise fine trilogy.

I just got CD1 in and for some reason, all of my media players tell me the file ends at 53:57, but it plays further when it's past 53:57 already!
Anyone else got this problem?

Picture is too dark. I prefer VideoCD's picture much better (despite for occassional discolorations in the top). The audio is good (kind of quiet though, have to turn your volume up quite a bit), but not worth hearing the god damn Windows dings. I really don't want to play it in front of friends and have to explain why they just heard a computer ding. Ruins the feel of the movie if you ask me. When I watch the Matrix I want to be escaped from a world without Windows, if only for 2 hours. Anyways, I deleted this version and kept my VideoCD release. With VideoCD's picture brightness and great colors, you can't go wrong. NOX's version is simply too dark, especially during scenes like Neo vs. Smith. I give this version a 7/7/9.

P.S. Yes, I gave this movie a 9, because I wasn't plagued by advertisements and previews like everyone else was. I refused to watch any trailers, TV previews, TV spots, behind the scenes crap, or anything that would give anything away from this movie. Which was pretty easy seeing as how I don't watch TV anymore. Because of my choice, it made the movie F**KING AWESOME. I came to the movie not expecting a thing and came out completely blown out of my mind. I didn't know what I was in for or what this movie could possibly have in it, and that made me enjoy it as much as the first one. This movie was good, it just wasn't to most people because they weren't surprised by anything. That's why the first movie was so good, it was a complete surprise. In short, the 2nd and 3rd movies' downfall was being advertised to hell. Try to think that it may not have been the movie that made them bad, it was the advertising.

Agent Kozzy

Sorry, I'll stick to my telecine over this one. They should never release these movies in FS, it just doesn't do them justice. Not too great video, as previously said it's pretty dark. And the audio's kinda cruddy in a few places.

6/6/8

When a DVD SCR or Retail's out, I'll be a much happier camper.
