I really thought you guys were over reacting. I downloaded the first cd and tried to watch it--I got a headache in my eyes from it. And the sounds not that hot--a movie that should be bass-heavy was very heavy on the treble.
Anyway, I think ONE of the problems is that the videocassette used was a copy of a copy of a copy--that would account for the lines at the bottom and a variety of glitches and pops in the movie (I don't know about the sample you guys looked at), and the "halo" effect usually seen in copies of copies of tapes was made even worse by pixellation.
The picture is so bad, you can't keep track of the characters by what they look like--more by male/female and wearing/not wearing a helmet.
Video is terrible, made me wanna grab the pixels and try and from a different picture. Sound isn't bad (especially compared to the picture), but nothing special. Starz is already advertising this movie for April, so unless your dying to see it, just wait until it hits cable.
I did like the first but not bothered bout the second. 2/2/?
If Casper Van Dien was in it might be worth a watch but as usual a sequel with no namers in it.
well yup could be better but i liked the first, and this one is not as good but still for a collector. Also one of the actors came back from the dead , or is this a prequel.
