Now lets look at the facts - PROPER usually means better right? Better quality , Better AR , Better Sound ..... among other things.
TCFs Copy - colors were washed , the frames were screwed, the picture was overall watchable but not nice. The Sound ... sounded a bit mic'ish and got bad at times during the movie.
iMPERIALs Copy - Colors were ok , Perfectly cropped , nice & clear , much better picture. The Sound ... resembles TCF's copy wont know if it gets good or bad till i watch the complete movie but sounds ok ... so far.
Now if the sound resembled each other - the frames were better on iMPERIALs , and the picture was much much better as it is .... sounds like a valid proper to me.
Now lets look back in Time ... ahhh a movie comes to mind - Hellboy! BAHA , MPT , Centropy all clearly *same sources* (unlike this movie - The Punisher ), what was the difference in them. Better Picture , Better Sound , Better Encoding. Wow Centropy didnt get nuked.
Which brings me to the point: (thinking to an nfo from BAHA 2 days ago SM3-VOB.NF0.nfo) Quote reason #3: "the scene still hates new groups"
I hate to say it but i will , Had this said -Centropy , -TCR on it or had iMPERIAL not propered "-TCF", they mighta stood a chance everywhere. Instead nukers love to hate new grps and even though this is clearly a much better copy then TCF - nuke it for not needed? pffff
No im not with iMPERIAL release grp. Im just tired of all the sheep nukers out there who need to go back to 10mb's.
speaking as someone who watched both releases...there is nothing wrong with the TCF version...remember this is a proper of a TELESYNC...only thing that should have propered the TCF version would have been TELECINE SCREENER OR DVDSCR OR DVD ....now yea i am sometimes a fan of the SVCD CTP rlses days later than other rlses, only when they are needed. but the TCF version is WAY MORE THAN watcheable , on tv, xbox, or even pc. There really was no need for this. Now if they came out with say a tru proper to Kill Bill , since for 6 mins in cd2 of TCR rls the reel flicks over and over, and in the VideoCD proper all the words are centered at the end cause its cropped to shit and stretched. Now that is a movie, that would deserve a proper. but this movie does not. so i can understand why it got nuked. Sheep nukers are a problem, i wont disagree, but yea nice job IMPERIAL on the rls, but you were too late..after sws made a shitty rls, TCF was perfect...shit if you compare TCF and IMPERIAL, the AR is exact, IMPERIAL's is cropped correctly prolly casue they had more time, and has more saturation in the color...shit this could even be the same silver. Cleaning up the audio and video wouldnt be hard if it was same source as TCF, you know its a silver....since their requests in the nfo make that known, and when was the last time you saw TCF camming alot, they prolly had the same. so its not impossible to be same source just cleaned up correctly.

first let me say.. this movie was fucking exactly what it should have been. if any of you read the comic, i was disturbed at first that he only had one kid in the movie, cause i wasnt sure how that would effect when his family was killed, its sooo hollywood to make it one kid instead of two cause it means more to the audience...but then...well then there was the SLAUGHTER!!! of the entire family...which by far was an intense scene, especially the part with the car running them down...i mean shit, they even showed it as much as they could. AMAZING folks....really cool setup, and for people thinking ..OMG THIS IS SOO UNBELIEVABLE , OMG THIS COULDNT BE LIKE THIS, HOW DOES HE DO THAT ?....answer he is the muther fucking punisher..read the comic.. he is a Senior LT of the fucking FBI, you think he has never shot a sawed off shotgun before, even one handed ? i mean come on people, he was train undercover killer. he knew everything of weapons, and im glad none of that shit was wasted for explaination in the movie...you just should know...THE PUNISHER WAS A BAD ASS...this is almost better than the original with Dolph Lundgren...mainly cause there is no nudity shot in the sewer.. then the russian..oh man, that screams comic book...the entire movie was like reading a comic, the bantor was perfect, the extra characters aka his neighbors were just as sappy in the movie as they were in the book...and guess what it had sometthing WAYYY OVER HELL BOY
good actors, playing WELL in depth charcters, ones you can relate to a bit and ones you actually want to watch...hellboy lacked the casting completely, every time someone was on screen it was terrible, the acting was piss poor the bantor was second rated, followed up by ACTION sequences ..."Red means Stop" ...come on...thats not comic book, thats not LEGENDARY HEROES wanting to be HEROES, its Hellboy made to look like Blade but with a team of EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN....i was extremely upset, even since the comic creator helped out greatly on the movie...it was still bad...so anyone who wants to get off the critics dicks on that movie...trust me, if you read the comic, it wasnt good, the comic was goofy with some seriousness but always with a good smile...but the casting for the movie was terrible..completely wrongly casted, along with his team members that were almost llike jerry's kids on stage...even the C3P0 look alike robot voice was bad...just didnt work with the the settings, RAsputin was cheesy as hell looking along with his VOLDO like 2nd in command..i mean shit, you dont have to make the movie for kids, just cause its based on a comic...we will see real genius when Frank Miller brings us Sin City...be afraid folks...FRANKIE IS THE MAN when it comes to writing...pz enjoy the punisher
