Yup just finished watching this rls and theres several scenes missing checked it against the POT rls and it has all the scenes there so if you are gonna watch this movie grab POT rls over this one. POT also has the end credits unlike this rls, all that said and done both were of good watchable quality.

POT has scene on mountain going into village
Fight scene with Drac and Val
End Credits.

sounds pretty close to a CAM to me..I wish groups would actually WATCH their releases to make sure that they are complete instead of wasting time and saving us the amount of *propers* there will be

Alright enuff complaining ppl. IF u dont like it don't download it. This rls is definitely not a Cam job, geez.. The picture is steady albeit alil off color at times very clean. but get pixelated alot during heavy action and there is alot of it.. The Audio is def DTS sourced, almost direct, no hiss or distortion on the tv.. As for the movie, i was kinda disappointed. Not what i hoped for, but props to VCDCentral for coming back on board with an excellent SVCD TS..Believe it or not ppl we're luck groups are releasing anything at this point.. Its a worthy rls. Keep up the good work and welcome back

sound is very good picture only spoilt by noticable angle when subtitles etc (subtitles go off screen at angle) bits missing don't help.film looks great shame incomplete. video 5.5 sound 8 some baad pixilation especially when fast action.

How much of the film has subtitles? Is it crucial to the plot?
Just wondering cause if videocd release a copy there will be french subs so I wanna know what I would be missing.

To this release (checked the first rars from CD1 and 2) very noticeable angle with the screen off centre, the universal logo is on the left of the screen and not in the centre. Very pixelated, don't know how many passes they used in the rush to get this out but it can't of been many. Even the slightest movement causes so much pixelation it is unwatchable. Sound on the other hand doesn't seem too bad but I didn't have much to sample from.

If it wasn't for the extreme pixelation, and missing scenes then I would of probably got the full release but I think I will pass on this, might check out the POT cam.

video - better than the POT release, a lot more colourful and vibrant, i agree that it is hard to tell if its a CAM but there is a significant tilt (universal logo at start and during several subtitiled scenes during the film). pixellation isn't that bad either.

audio - very good, no problems at all really

movie - hmmm still pending didnt watch the whole thing after end of CD1 had missing scenes.

Not a bad TS , sound was a-ight. Vid was good but color came a went to often, also some major pixilation , during action sceens. As fot the movie it was entertaining but not great.

Not to bad of a movie, kinda unhappy with the end. Kate beckinsale is hot, almost as hot as she was in underworld. Just watched the whole release, not bad but it was very washed out, blue and dark, then there was a few scenes with a lot of color (maybe this is the way the movie really is?) if they would have kept the color in the whole thing the way it is in some of cd2 then it would have been a much better release in my opnion. Sound is good, you can understand everything they say more or less. Just a tad to dark for this flick.

Oki. i got all 3 rls. The pot-cam is better than this VideoCD rls. this didnt need svcd,& weres the end ?? come on guys,if needed just stick pot s end on for all the ppl that d,loaded it & going to be pissed with you. Now the rls to grab is the VHS screener. no main group has claimed this YET ! but im sure when 1 of them grab it they will re encode & claim it. its been on bit toll for last 3 days & seems to be spreading ok. Quality is 10 xs better than any other rls.& in vcd format its only 1.3 gig d,load.There seems to be loads of fake xvid screeners going around - its the pot-cam renamed by some jerk !

pot- cam 7/ 6 / 8 <--- has ending

VideoCD 6 / 7 / 8 <-- doesnt have full ending.

VHS Screener 8 / 8 / 8 <-- quality.

I just skimmed through CD1 and CD2. The video is a bit dark but it's better that POTs. Sound is cleaner but Cam sounding. The missing scene between discs is like 20 seconds and nothing big. After he stabs Dracula they say a couple lines I don't understand anyway so no big deal to me. I looked at the ending and it was nothing important that was missing. Just him riding off into the sunset untill credits. In the POT version you get that plus people's heading in the way and of course applause.

I'm sure VideoCD's proper looks and sounds way better. They have owned the scened in terms of quality. But all their subs have been in french too. I'd pick this one over POTs though.

Picture is kinda blocky & darkish at times, audio is cleaner than in POT's release. Movie itself is horrible.

comments on the releases to date...

POT - sound hollow, picture is ok, complete movie, 5/5/7

VideoCD - good ts (tad greeny/brown in places but red/yellows are good), sound good and clean, good join between cd1 and cd2.

edit, there's THREE CD's to this... nfo says TWO! ??? 7/7/7

VCDCentral - from sample (they picked a dark scene with horses, carriage jumping a revene), good picture, sound is a little off (VideoCD's sound is best). (plus supposed to be from this board missing scene between cd1 and cd2, not sure of ending!) 6/6/7...

BTW, what's the deal withy VideoCD not having their releases listed on VCDQuality ?
