Not bad at all, not watched it yet so not sure about missing scenes but skipping through disc 1 it's a hell of a lot better than any other release at the mo.

I grabbed UTI's release at it was rough far to pixellated and almost pitch black at points. Saw the sample of Tun's release which was grabage with good sound. Grabbed the dvdcam which wasn't a hell of a lot better than UTI's (Was better though) this. Thewre was a release by cerebus (An IRC group) which was somewhere between UTI's & dvdcam.

I'd give this release 7.5/8/?

Looks better than the first 2 movies but I suspect it'll be a pile of shite really.

On an unrleated note it's been a while since I was grabbing films I just used a popular BT site but I've wanted a few films quick recently and was happy to find queues on xdcc bots have all but disapeered.

I love videocd's sound....every release sounds great on the surround sound. Keep up the good work videocd. And its nice to see them listed at vcdquality.

It's good to see them listed again as I'm only interested in movies so it saves having to check out nforce os such sites. I've been checking VCDquality for over 2 years now, it's my homepage felt like I was cheating on her.

Hmmm i'm not THAT happy with this rls.

Offcourse it's better then UTI (wich i'm suprised on how many ppl reply here without seeing it;..yes it misses 7 mins, yes de guy coughs etc etc) but i was hoping for better video.

It's obvious that thye picked this sample cause off the color. Even UTI had some color here. But when you watch further in the movie then you see that it's pretty colorless

Yes the audio is good but maybe i'm spoiled by there last rlseses and expected a bit more. Or maybe this is the same qual as last rlses but is the flic hard to cam cause it's almost entirly night during the film

Current title:

Colors a little washed out but alot brighter then UTi's

For the guys fighting over the cam been to the left, center or right - watch it from the begining of CD1 and you will see from the movie title where on the screen the CAM is set (its bang in the middle with a slight angle, as said above)

Why does every thread for a popular movie degenerate into a bitch-fight between two (or more ) loosers just because their opinion differs? Some of you really need to get out more.

Harry Potter? Well, I can't comment on the other releases because this is the only sample I've grabbed but the quality is fine. I won't give you the usual "grainy this" "angled that" speech either, despite it's faults, this release is a damned good TS.

lol i like this copy but i really like UTIs the pic is good n clear if u sit away. they made a mistake in the file harrys scar is on the right sidein 1 bit then on the left all the time lol

From what people were saying about the UTI version, it seems as though were watching a different film to me. It was horribly washed out, flicker and very murk (even for a dark film). The picture is a million times better on this VideoCD version. The DVD Cam by theBrain was better than the UTI version, if you could get hold of it.

This version is awesome, Thanks videocd also for Raising Helen that was almost perfect, more screener quality telesyncs from you! I have to say after removing those trailors and changing the format of the DVDcams to 16:9 I have been very happy with that version as well I think the picture is about the same but you have to change the format to really enjoy DVDcams or you have a funny looking picture.

That's not a mistake there. I thought it was too, until I watched the scene again. If you watch, the camera is looking into the mirror on the closet, thus, you are getting the mirrored image!

I saw the DVD cam release on xdccspy.com (search for harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban) or maybe it was on suprnova.org . think it was xdccspy.

Might well be the uti in ISO my friend, but anyone who has seen it (including myself) will tell you that the picture is far superior on this version. Much lighter, less washed out. What they have done more than likely is touched up UTI's video I would say, which for me was utter turd. Anyone with eyes in their head can see that this version is better than UTI's.

UTI must also have cut out the adverts from the start of their's as they were present on the dvd cam.

is it my copy i have downloaded or what ????

cd2 sound goes about half second out ????

checked the svcd's and same there only noticed after i converted to dvd grrrrrr

wish i had checked first...
other then that spot on..

there were 2 releases of the dvd cam

one of them froze in the middle of the film and both of them had a few seconds missing

wast anything special it was just a cam converted to dvd format

( a bit like what people do with svcds etc so they can sell the movies on dvd )
