I watched Videocd's last night and I saw the sample for this at about the same time. I'd say this was better, colours more accurate and less cropped. Sound sounded great from both releases.

I'd say, personally, this was the better release out of the two.

I prefer this rls to the VideoCD one.

Promised myself i wouldn't download any samples of this gay movie. But anyway, this rls has a nicer colour to it. Seems less cropped and i personally think has slightly better audio.

True, the differences are pretty minimal, but if you must see this homosexual movie, get this one.

personally prefer videocds to this.

This issue here though is Matines lameness to realise that their proper reason is invalid. Should of been an internal rls.

Now instead of getting props, they once again get knocked for being idiots (which isnt far off the truth ).

so ... the tagging says "READ.NFO" ... so I read the .nfo, and they are propering just for general quality, which in most ppl's opinion isn't all that much better, at least not to justify a PROPER release. MaTinE has a bad name, and maybe they should have left this an internal release, because people still look at the samples, and download those ... I have a bunch of internal releases of movies, if the quality is better, I'll grab the iNTERNAL ... but this proper reason they got going, is definately unjustified, hence the nuke. I'm sorry MaTinE, but this release just didn't cut it.

just a little shout out to jmur, I think what horizonstar meant, is why doesn't he just download the 3 cd TS by VideoCD/MaTinE, instead of wasting approximately 4.5 gigs on the dvdr download. I'm sure everyone has downloaded and burned bad movies, but we should also learn from our mistakes

nice not much better then the other. but better color. but more grainy (thats a downside)(and less cut off)

MaTinE really screwed up on this one. There is no reason at all for a proper here. VideoCD was, as always, very nice. The only thing I could even see wrong with it was a 2 second glitch in sound when you see that main bad guy in his Egyptian(hope I spelled it right) mask walking down that aisle.(Might have just been mine) Other than that VideoCD was near perfect. MaTinE's release should have definately been Internal. Big OOPS on them


I think the plot was actually alright. I also thought the movie was pretty good, but then again I also liked Pitch Black However the movie could have definately been better. Do yall think there will be another?

some groups just dont get it... and MaTiNe is one of them.. they are dumb... get nuked every release.. as for this release summed up in 1 word.. POINTLESS.. 3cds vs 2. Darker vs perfect color.. and as for cropped videocd's is better...

The VideoCD release has a much crisper, clearer picture, no doubt about it. This MaTiNe release has slightly better color and slightly better sound, but the AR is worse, as is the cropping. Worst of all it's 3 CD's.

I think the VideoCD version is still superior.

second....useless rls?...as far as i can tell, yes.

videocd rls was more than fine, more than adequate, more than what my 9 bucks was worth

third...its funny how people cry that TS have to be SVCD now and have to be almost like a DVD...the shit is free, you should just appreciate that...this does look better than the VideoCD rls, was it worth the proper? no..but it does look more colorfull. these guys did what everyone on this forum bitches for, rlsed a good rls, with good colors and sound, but did it later than a decent rls...and got bashed for it...catch 22 thing is funny

anyhow, i give this a 7/7/6

Hmm. i didn't grab the VideoCD rls as this movie does not appeal to me (kinda grabbed the sample for this on a whim), looks and sounds fine to me though, just thought i might add what a wonderful job matinee did in leaving cap code in their sample.. wait a go boys, keep protecting your cammers!
