Great movie. This release is watchable, but I'm glad I saw it at the theater first.
The sides of the screen are cropped (which is understandable of course). Picture is grainy and dull, but not as blurry as a lot of VCD releases. Audio sounds alright. Not great, but I didn't have to strain to hear anything.
I just wanted to add that the very beginning of the movie is missing in this release. It's not much (just some quick flashes of Howard Marks murdering his wife and her lover), but I just thought I'd point that out. I think I also noticed the movie skipping ahead a few seconds every once in a while. No biggie.
Well I thought the pic was certainly watchable on this one, but overall the release was let down by the sound, which was too metallic and made it difficult to enjoy the movie. Consequently I only watched as far as the end of disc 1. I hope for a better version soon.

Why do people even bother releasing stuff like this? I know, I shouldn't slag release groups cause afterall no-one else has released it yet, but the quality sucks bigtime. Deleted this one straight away, and I'll wait a few days longer for a better release.

Video was passable but the sound was truly awful. I put up with it for about 20 minutes then had enough. Sometimes you couldn't even tell who was speaking during scenes where several people might have been talking at once or where there was a background conversation that wasn't meant to be heard.

Sounds like the microphone was in a commode at the time of recording but the picture's reasonably ok (fucking blueish tint though) and the film makes up for it all.
