Conclusion
::After bashing gothic kids and reading other people's thought about depressed teenagers. I decided to write a conclusion where I hope to shine some light on these dark souls
After speaking with a "gothic" friend I quickly learnt that she doesnt classify herself as a goth or even "gothic". Which I thought was weird since everyone I know describes goth kids as
kids who are depressed, wear black clothes, and write alot of poetry. My friend I was talking to is all this, but claims shes not "gothic" but infact just herself.
Which leads me to sterotyping. sterotyping to me is when you judge someone before knowing them. You take one look at them and judge them instantly based on:
A. People that looks like them/reminds you of
B. Style of clothing
C. Overall look
When I see a person who wears black clothing, pants and shirt. Have black hair and nailpolish. Thanks to good old TV I categorize
them as goth . Sterotypes start to list in my head.
Goth Sterotypes.(Guide to being Gothic)
1. Depressed.
-usally family problems, ie divorce
-lonely, ie. might feel they are ugly
2. Black Clothing
-its depressing
-makes them look depressed (thats what they want)
3. Poetry
-its easy and anyone can do it
-they can rythm about anything to do with death
4. Suicidal
-Keeps the parents,teachers on their toes
-keeps you guessing, they want attention
Sterotypes are the worst because the goth kids I know are nothing like this. But we live in North America, we have to be "perfect". Sterotypes arent just on goth kids, its for anyone the way you walk,talk, and act. Sterotypes are the worst.
But smart people use it to their advantage. You wear expensive clothing people think highly of you, but then negative sterotypes towards rich kids.
In the movie Catch Me If You Can, the main character dressed like a air lines pilot and stole lots of money and was only 16. He was smart and thought" if I just look like a important person someone is going to cash my cheques."
So wouldnt you want to use sterotypes to your advantage? and not use sterotypes to make people think you are a fag
Why Gothic?
Real depressed kids are really depressed. They usally bottle it up and just keep it to themselves. They dont wear black clothing, they dont listen to music about death and satan. They are normal people. Its normal to be sad and depressed from time to time. Its human.
But "gothic" kids just want everyone to notice, hell they even go out in public like this for everyone to see.
Which makes me believe kids who are "gothic" are not depressed. They just want attention.
But since the sterotypes of them just wanting attention they start to blame their look on other things ::
1. To be Different
2. Not to be a "sheep" and conform
3. The music they listen to influences them
To be Different.
Everyone is different as it is.

Does this mean that everyone is buying the same crap? Cause coperate america is telling them what is cool?
Well shouldn't you judge a person on their personality. Not by what they wear? Even a Goth should know that.

If it influences them then they are just trying to find reasons to be depressed. They look for the smallest things so they can be just like their favorite singers. Same with eminem wannabes, they claim they are from the ghetto and they're tuff. But really we all know they couldnt survive in a real ghetto. And I bet you all gothic kids are afraid of dying.
Gothic kids just want attention.
Conclusion
The kids at vampirefreaks.com are just losers that want attention. They look for any reason to be depressed. anything.
So they think maybe if I look sad and depressed someone will notice me.
The reason they cut themselves and act all suicidal, cause they really want attention.
Ive seen that south park episode, probaly one of the reasons why i am writing so much crap about them. Watch that episode it explains alot.
Its hard explaining why guys might want to look like girls and dress like total fags.

Some (And mean only some) of the 'goth' chicks around here are *really* hot. However round here (Ireland) there really is no such thing as being goth as there not much places to shop so people really customise their stuff. I have no problem with how people dress I myself dress what you would call 'hardcore', (think Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge etc, you know the zip top hoodie, the black combats, that cap they seem to always wear, and some, not me though, wear scarves.. If you're from the UK check out the Dillinger Escape Plans' interview in Rock Sound magazine this month to see what I kinda dress like) Anyway enough about me... Back to the 'goths'. Here, anyone under the age of 20 (apparently except for me) has absolutley no idea the name of any true goth bands if you ask them. You will usually get 'fucking MM man!!' or something else to that vein. I nearly attacked the last one I asked that to by screaming at him stuff like "BAUHAUS!! SISTERS OF MERCY!! THE CURE!! YOU FUCKTARD!!" *ahh tiny rant over* But as for hot looks.. If theres black clothing around I'm there..
