XVID is it!!

Why anyone would complain about XVID...lets see the facts...smaller files for downloading...usually only 1 disk...if you have a DIVX player like Phillips DVP643 or the new LG or if your in Canada Crappy Tire has a DIVX player for $69...now if you dont have a player...then 1 hour convert using Nero 7 in to DVD format....seems like a winner to me!!

Now the movie...
Great job Maven!!
A=9
V=8(a tad dark)
M=8.5 Good sequal

encoding software is the equivalent of The 404 going on a diet and walking thru the door. takes longer and sometimes more skill, but ultimately worth it.

Wow! The quality on this release for a TS is damn good! Haven't seen TS's like this since TMM or some of CTP's TS.

I don't like the idea of XViD only releases, because you have to convert them to play on a standalone...but if Maven keeps quality releases like this coming, then I'm all for it .

its wicked-bad quality, but i just burned this to dvd using nve3 and am watching it now only to realize that the dvd is not in sync. i've never had this problem before though. im not bashing the release since it is the best one so far

I quite like the new format. No break in the middle, better quality. Keep it up. Plays really well on XBMC

xvid is the easiest conversion ever for a dvd. Just use Winavi, or dvd santa, they convert xvids real easy and real fast. Depending on the speed of your processor withing an hour maybe 2 the latest you can have your movie completely converted to dvd and ready to watch on standalone. Trust me they work.

Now SVCD's are longer file sizes and harder to convert. I normally use dvd santa or nero concerter for svcd's but they take forever. I mean like 5 hours to convert whereas the xvid takes no less than an hour and a half for the work.

Awsome TS, as we used to from maVen.
The pucture is perfect (for a TS dont expect a DVDRip kind of quality), And sound is great, haven't had any problem understanding what they saying.

V=10 - For a TS i dont think u can ask for more.
S=8.5 - (Great but not perfect, i saw (or heared) better from maVen actually).
M=8 - Very good, but not as good as the first one (but thats HARD).

Why is it really shit, is it because you cannot put it on to svcd and sell it to your mates. The quality is better and its not split into 2 part just one xvid.

Superb TS. Good but not fab audio and superb video for a dark film.

I much prefer divx/xvid as a format. Smaller file sizes, better image quality (in my opinion.

A large number of dvd players support xvid now (and let's face it, not all dvd players support vcd/svcd anyway).

And an even larger number just output to xbmc.

Come on what can you say its a MaVen rls. MAVEN MAVEN MAVEN MAVEN. Anyone that has anything to say about MaVen's work needs to leave now. Yeah I am swinging from his nuts. Why? HE is my personal hero. I say that cause every group out there has let me down at least once. Not MaVen Always quality. Always!! And the "call out" in the NFO is classic. Well by my comments you already know how I feel about this release but for those that want number

8.5/8/10 This movie is sick and I loved it!

Not a TS. It's a CAM. You can hear the guy cough throughout the movie who is filming and an early cam mic brush (along with hollowness). Great quality, but kind of ironic seeing as how they stated in the NFO about the TC mislables.

8/6/8.

Still better than the majority of cams that are put out.
