After converting the video to mpeg format at 720x480 res and 29.97 FPS with a 4:3 AR, I demuxed it and adjusted the starting time of the audio (which would be the equivilant of removing the first 7.5 seconds of audio). It's still just barely off at this point, so it's not percicely 7500ms, and there is a scene I noticed where the audio went back out of sync. I'd recommend the vcd release of this, since the xvid's audio is apparently fucked.
