i watched the pilot episodes and the first 6 episodes of the first season, im just about to watch episode 7 but i thought id come here to share my excitment for BSG, its fucking brilliant, i love sg-1 and atlantis with all my heart, but this is wayyyyyyyyyy better. the special effects are pretty good for a tv show aswell !!!

With regards to the special effects... They're probably the best on any TV show, although Stargate isn't too shabby (although it's "obvious" CGI, something that BSG avoids by adding a certain level of grainyness to it and shaking the "camera" about like the cameraman was shitfaced )

Im just about to watch episode 10 of season 1, Im doinf to grab all of season 2 while i watch the last few episodes of the first season.

Jus wondering if the are any other versions avalible apart from the DSR ones.
I havnt seen any with HDTV source

It would make me mad having to watch an entire season of DRS's after ive watched the first season in HR-HDTV.

I seen the DVD of season 2 isnt even out untill october!!! and the is NOWAY i can wait untill to carry on watching

hmm, currently staving off BSG hunger with House MD. Its pretty good, but its also like staving off tobacco with nicotine patches.

Would they ever make a BSG film? I know the first 2 pilots were universal made, but god that was like 100% crack. Want a BSG film!!!

Ditto pretty much everything already said. I'm up to season 2 ep 17 I think.

Fucking brilliant show, no doubt. Sci-fi but with some real substance and character behind it. One of the very few shows I'm thinking of buying on DVD.

One problem is that I cant get my other half to watch it. She wont even give it the light of day. Any time I watch it, it's "ohhh not that show again" Gaaahhhhh!!!

my god dam PC is to fucking old to play season 2 !!!!!! there all HD @ 1080i and my pc gives me about 1 frame per min, i have never downlaoded such a large amount to find i cant even play it each episode was about 4GB !!!


im downloading other versions now, im still gunna keep the HD ones as they will be better then dvd quality once i get a new PC and can play them
