I have to confess, the first two episodes had me thinking this show was "ok" and worth the download but now it's starting to get me hooked. Also, it's pretty obvious that the Jap guy was from waaaaaay into the future considering he was dressed like Neo, carrying a sword and had a stupid-looking beard

Also, Dwaggy sounds like the Chef off the muppet show when he speaks.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this so far although, as baha mentioned, we need to start moving along the plotline soon.

I've tried getting some of my mates to watch it... unfortunately...

"...a group of people wake up with super-hero powers and two can fly and one can bend the space/time continuum with his mind and another paints the future whilst fucked out of his head on heroin and some bird can regenerate herself following any wounds and another can read minds and it's really good and the world is about to end and it's really good and they've got to save the world because it's about to end in 5 weeks and... and..."

.....they end up laughing at me. I must admit, the plot outline does sound crap but it is still enjoyable so far.

There was something that made me think the younger brother can absorb the powers of those around him and doesn't have his own 'special' power. This ep tonight was OK. What secret was revealed? That's all I heard on the tv spots, A secret will be revealed. This ep seemed to be a filler ep.

***SPOILERS Ep.5***

Maybe the secret was about Ali's husband being alive and well...though not really a 'secret' in the context of the episode as the police were out in force to announce it.

Starting to come together, the characters are all hooking up. Just the cop and the cheerleader yet to make any connections, though the cheerleader is about to get a visit.

What happened to the serial killer? Seems to have disappeared from the storyline. (I did think initially that it was the cheerleader's dad responsible for the murders, but seems less likely now: he'll probably turn out to be affiliated to some shadow dark ops organisation (that was somehow involved in creating the abilities...maybe?))

Just thought whilst typing: the 'secret' may be that the mutant power serial killer is on the trail of the cheerleader: why else would she need saving? She's indestructible otherwise!

One guess I had about Claire (the cheerleader) having to be saved is from the serial killer. Remember, this person (guy?) has unbeleiveable powers as well, so it's quite possible he could kill Claire who technically is "unkillable".

Who else besides me thought Nathan's sonic boom was cool as fuck. Damn lol.

Definitely had it on target about Peter taking on the others abilities/powers whenever he's near them as we saw with him finishing Isaac's painting.

Too bad the quarterback did die when Claire drove is Camero into that wall. But what exactly does that black guy with her father do? Erase memories? Or is there more to it?

Heroes S1E06, a filler episode. Not much happens, the story slips into first gear. Ho hum, always happens with these US series that are sold into production on the strength of 2 or 3 written episodes (and then the writers realise they have to fill another 15 hours of airtime without an idea between them).

Will the cheerleader ever need saving? Will the telepathic cop ever return? Who the fuck was Saviour...er...Styler...or was it Soiler...you know, that character that's never been seen and appears now to be a total red herring having not been mentioned in 2 episodes...

Let's hope it gets back on track soon.

A mate reckons that if you look closely in the episode where the telepathic cop saves the FBI chick from Syler that you can see Syler's shoes...and they're a pair of women's heels - I haven't bothered to watch it to confirm, maybe someone a little less apathetic than I could confirm? He reckons it's the redheaded bint that was leading the investigation into Syler in that episode for some reason or other that I don't recall.
