Video isn't bad for a CAM...subtitles are missing but what do you expect for a first release? Wouldn't watch it you're epileptic lol Audio is damn good for a CAM.
Yeah, the flicker was the only real problem. And for this movie I actually ENJOYED hearing the audience. This is a laugh/groan-out-loud movie so the audience interaction gave it more of a theater feel and enhanced the experience. I don't mind that the subtitles are missing, because we should all go and see this movie and support Borat! You like?

Video: 3/10 (Awfully flickery, Overcropped, slightly angled, slow frame rate, not steady at all)

Yes, the audio is the important thing with this film, and it is very very good. I actually enjoyed the audience 'noise,' as it felt like being at the theater aughing along with the crowd. The video flicker (and cropped subtitles--but we should all go PAY for this movie anyway!) was the only problem with this amazing, instant release! Thank you, gang!!!
Figures, great sound, great funny as hell, sold out movie, crap vid.
Color flickers all the way thru,,,cropped, cant see the subs when he speaks, whatever,,,,,sound is good,,,,watch this is you're on acid,,then the color flickers might make sense.

Since this was the first copy out the first day I grabbed it. Yeah the quality wasnt great (i've seen and heard much worse) but it was definitely watchable....

Being that this got out the first weekend, when Chicago, yes Chicago, had it at TWO freakin' theaters, I was more than happy to sit through this...about eight times now! I didn't know about the politics, but it sure seemed like there was a lot of bashing when I thought it was fine for the situation. And I don't yet see a better version! I still plan to see it to support it..and catch the subtitles.
