Watched this on a media pc connected to a standard definition CRT TV (29 inch) using only stereo channels (no 5.1 or anything). I feel this might be relevant - were I to watch this on a HD theatre setup I don't think I'd expect the same quality - but this isn't a HD rip, nor a full DVDR. Those with standard def setups should be happy to download this, those with HD setups might want another release.
The video was near seamless the only blurring I was conscious of was during 1 sequence early on, and to be honest it looked pretty close to an intentional motion blur effect applied during rendering - could be wrong as I never saw this movie at the cinemas. It seemed a little dark, but again could have been the production not the rip and simply adjusting the tv picture corrected it.
And on a 2-channel stereo setup the audio was quiet and the mid-tones were a bit lost, but once more a couple of tweaks to the tv and all was good.
It may be a 1-pass, I don't have the "skillz" to detect that - but it's (on my SD setup anyway) as good or better than any other DVD rip I've snatched.
Maybe someone watching on a HD setup could offer a more detailed opinion on quality.
