I'll use this release just to watch it, but I'm not going to burn it until someone does a proper release. There are 850 megs of space wasted on non English audio and subs, not to mention all the extras, which is just ridiculous. A movie of this length with this many visuals and high action sequences needs everything stripped except 5.1 English audio. The menu animation needs to be replaced with static images or the menus should be stripped altogether. Otherwise it needs to be released as a DVD9.

When blown up to full screen on my 1600x1200 LCD monitor the quality is very, very underwhelming compared to other recent DVDR releases.

V 5.5
A 10
M Haven't watched the whole thing through yet.

considering this is a low bitrate DVDR:

v-7 (blocky in some areas, not good for large screens)
a-9 (nice! wish they stripped the useless audio)
m-10 (saw it in theaters, amazing movie)

for those of you who have not seen this movie, this will do just fine (if you watch it in a small screen). otherwise, this movie needs to be released in DVD9. but, to really fully enjoy the VFX value of the movie, you need to watch it in HD-DVD with full 5.1+ surround sound on blast!

nfo says R1, but from what I understand, this format release was only found in R4, would explain why it looks so rushed.

not bad for an mVs release, but not great either.

V: 6 - (viewed on 42" LCD HDTV Upscaled to 1080i via HDMI) Noticeable artifacts during demanding action scenes. In my opinion it appears to be transcoded, but I cannot be sure considering the already below average bitrate, due to multiple audio tracks. If you haven’t already seen this film then I would wait for a release properly encoded w/ higher average bitrate.
A: 9
M: 8 - Decent plot considering the subject matter, spectacular CGI, and U.S. Military hardware in action like only Director Michael Bay can deliver.

ima co-sign on that and give this video a 4 just because the bitrate could have been higher but because this wasn't mVs source of course it didnt get done the right way

audio a 10 because it has spanish AND english and the movie a 10 cause it was badass

::ModEdit: Don't talk about where you find shit... and the TV talk really needs to stop::

Upscaled to 1080I on 42" LCD still looks good,

Nvere got chance to watch it. Tried to watch upscaled through my PS3 on my 42" Plasma and was too blocky. Audo was brilliant though.
