footnote on my footnote: there is, however, an apostrophe in "someone's" as it is the singular possessive pronoun. i think. i shall check and return.
footnote^3: from the quick research i have just performed, it seems that most personal pronouns do not take an apostrophe in their possessive forms (its, his, hers, ours, yours) except for the indefinite pronouns, such as "one's," "anyone's," "someone's," etc... coincidentally, the use of "else" following a pronoun will most often see a possessive form of x "else's", as in "someone else's."
