My mate's 2nd cousin(or something like that) was the voice of night rider, at least that what he said .

My dad's a pro poker player he final tabled many event over the years and been on tv a few times(he currently in Vegas playing in the WSOP).
I met loads of famous people through playing poker including Ben Afflick who looked stoned at the time.

Various other who wouldn't be famous outside the poker world. Funniest had to be Mad Marty Wilson just very hyper type of guy. One story about him was he was stuck for cash to play a tournament so he borrowed a load of park cones off the motorway to sell. He saw a few near his house, took them too only problem his misses drove into the hole they were marking the next morning.

Im from the same area as Ricky Hatton, Harold Shipman and Myra Hindley. Been in a strip club with Ricky after the Derby a couple of seasons ago with his entourage and we all watched Ray his dad get a lapdance His family all drink in the pubs round here.

I was at some dodgy boxing event a few months back near Bolton and called that Lisa Ho from Big Brother a slag when she was at the bar goin on an on about how she wants to be on shameless . . . . that went down like a lead balloon.

I saw Mr Motivator at some rave they had on in Skegness back in 1995 i thought i had scored some seriously good pills til i realised i werent tripping balls!!

I went to Ricky Hards' gym for a couple of years back in the mid-90s who has since appeared in a number of commercials, TV shows (I think he beat up Phil Mitchell in an episode of Eastenders once), a videogame (The Getaway) and some films.


My dad's cousin is married to a TV presenter who hosts a lot of fishing shows (Mick Brown).

Met and lifted weights with Metallica back in April of 1989. Guys came walking in unannounced to the Y-Center, in Battle Creek, Mi, free weights room. Only 4 of us in there at the time so we got to spot for a few of the guys. Hatfield was a beast. All the guys were pretty laid back and cool as hell. Got a pair of workout gloves signed by all four guys at the time. Newsted was actually born in Battle Creek and considered it his hometown. Spent some time as a kid at the Y as well which was the reason they stopped by for a workout. That and the Kellogg Arena hotel, McCamly Plaza Hotel, didn't have a decent workout facility at the time from what they told us lol. Got backstage passes (already had tickets for them, Queensryche, another favorite band of mine, was opening for them) and got to hang with them backstage after the show. Best fucking concert I've ever been to in 30 years. These guys actually got the key to the city because this concert was the first one to completely sellout Kellogg Arena.

Met my 5th cousin, Kathleen Quinlan back in 1975. Related on my dad's side, we made a trip out west and stopped by her parents house though I don't remember exactly where (was only 8 at the time). Probably best known for playing Marilyn Lovell in Apollo 13 though I remember my dad always talking about her part in American Graffiti.

Meet and shook hands with Ronald Reagan 3 months before the 1980 Presidential Election. Dad had to go to a federal building for some work in D.C. (where we lived at the time) on a Saturday and told me Reagan would be stopping through and would I like to meet him? Not knowing too much about the election being only 13 I still knew that everyone was saying this guy would be the next president so of course I said yes.

my personal 15 minutes were in a band called the Krays about 12 years ago...i split cause it got too big for me...i couldnt tour and they went around the world a bunch of times with 4 LPs....

i just got a call last night to fill in on guitar for a show at a small venue called Grammercy theater....but itll be the biggest show i ever played...its a 600 capacity theater and should be sold out
