I always feel dirty when I agree with you on something but you're right... Yes she has a pretty amazing voice but it's not as "breathtaking" as her appearance or the fact that she's slightly retarded (not even a joke, she suffered minor brain damage during childbirth due to lack of oxygen) - had this Scottish bint actually been human, nobody would give much of a shit and she'd just be another contestant in the oddly compelling whore-fest that is Britain's Got Talent

Obviously not, they don't just walk through the doors of the theatre and get to audition on stage, there would be about 3 stages of unseen auditions for each contestant, judged by various production company staff. Only the ones who provide some entertainment value would be selected for the TV audition and you can bet your bollocks Cowell and the rest of the judges would be handed notes on who does what, who is funny, who is good and what leading questions to ask to properly build up the performance.

Having said that.
