Yes I tried it on 2 different players and only watched part of disc1
but it kept doin that.

I dont really care what source this comes from....but if the video can't remain stable I wouldnt give this more then a 5

i watched the "workprint" when it first came out. loved the movie and thought the workprint was great. didnt see any problems besides annoying text shit and black bars. Seems like this movie got too many releases. How many damn releases can one movie have? the work print was fine until a dvd rip came out. Though this screener looks ok.

ya the video going bright then dark every 20 seconds is very annoying

if it weasnt for that id give 8/8/9

but... since its doing that bright to dark thing i give it a 5/8/9

I think it'd funny that it took so long into this thread for anyone to even comment on the fact that the brightness was constantly changing so much. Does anybody think that's because the first 20 votes and 15 posts on the thread or so were just based on jpegs and the odd one on the sample.

This webpage has a good idea behind it, but the people here kind of defeat that.

I agree with the rating that this would be about a 8/8/9, but because of the brightness messup it's about a 4/8/9. That definitely gets on my nerves and ruins this rip.

Gee...somebody who actually watched it! Now do people understand why you burn & play before you post? Probably not. Yes the fading brightness is a bit annoying simply because of the frequency, like 30 seconds apart. The video is a bit blurred.

I have a copy of every version of this movie and in my oppinion this one is the best. They kept the opening credits and a portion of the ending, if that matters to you. The sound was excellent and if they did not have the fade problem I would have easily given this an 8 or 9. The blur is only slight.

Hmm lazy encoding? no its just CBR 1150 crap. If i ever do a VCD i do multi passes and max bit rate, just like an SVCD. The quality is top notch, well best for a low res vcd.
