Me and my mom went my friends and his mom and we were all lovin this movie! All tha freestyles and battle were ill and tha actin was great, I dont see a oscar tho goin to Eminem, in the fight scenes he wasnt all wit tha actin them out will, but its my favorite movie this year so far... I believe it was 54.5 mil opening weekend
2nd highest grossing opening weekend for an R rated film, only 2nd to Hannibal

now consider the target audiences of these movies..

man this movie has been sold out for a week... Luckily, I bought tickets to Santa Clause 2 and headed over to 8 mile. I caught the first showing of it here in sandtown
