i hate fullscreen and especially fullscreen bootlegs. Ive been spoiled latley with the widescreen rls lately (at least the movies i wanted to watch) that i forgot about these croppers. I mean with a screener i can deal because that means some panning was done but nothin pisses me off more when there is action going on "off camera" I just looked at jpgs and am not even gonna bother wasting my precious bandwidth on the sample even.

Actually, RaPpA got it about right-- maybe a little high for FTF's version-- I say 4/2-- and he had the decency not to rate a movie he hadn't seen. All in all, I'm not sure what the poster's point was.

REVIEW: Full screen, which sucks because we're missing 33% of the picture. Very sharp picture, bright enough, okay colors. Sound is very good, MUCH better than the previous version. Movie looks like a winner.

All in all, ECO has given us the first watchable version of 8 Mile, and they deserve major props from all.

it's a watchable release and the main diference IMHO is that the audio is much better than the ftf's release, which we tried to watch and couldn't concetrate.
I hope at least that c-p-t doesn't dupe this nice release.
i can't understand how come ftf never made an awesome release with all the flood of releases. i honestly couldn't stand an entire movie of ftf's even red dragon which i'm not sure if it was ftf's fault or that the godamn movie was too talky.

never bothered with FTF's release it looked shit from the jpegs and the couple of reviews I read amongst the crap put me off. This isn't too bad, 7/6/6.

I wonder PHO did you edit my post about CT-P in the jackass thread or was I just pissed and forgot to actually post it.

Mmmmm I don't know what to say Cam is Cam but sounds better the FTF Looks Better then FTF so i downloaded, but still FTF is doing there job and i am happy from both groups that released this movie !

To: Anyone bitching about the ECO video quality

I've seen a post or two claiming that they liked FTF's video better but the sound here better... There's a simple solution!

Just take the audio here and re-encode it with the FTF video.

It's not hard, but you'll have to merge the video back from 2 segments into 1 for each release first (so you have a contiguous video sample and a contiguous audio sample to work with).

Just some advice, that's all.

how could it be croped lol, i dunno about you but if no of a dv cam that records in ws can u let me no the model number of it cuz i would wanna buy it myself. when i said it wasn't croped i meant that when they capped it from their soucre they did put it in to vdub or tmpg and crop parts off, and as for the widescreen the only way to get a NON dvdrip to widescreen is to add borders becuz on a ts its only gunna show up as how it was shot with the cam on a dvdrip u have options when u rip it to take away the bars or leave them cuz the movie already had bars and it was taken from its digital source that was already widescreen.

this is a great rip once again i'll say
and the svcd ws is even better they just didn't wanna rls it cuz you all cried like babies last time they did svcd

1. lo.pro knows a hella lot about shit, so you're really arguing with the wrong person
2. my DV cam shoots in letterbox and anamorphic widescreen without any problem at all, as do most these days.

edit :: i got bored and decided to prove it, as i've never been arsed with anamorphic shooting before.

the image is squeezed when viewed on the 4:3 viewfinder on the camera, then on edit the image comes out in 16:9 widescreen.

You seeing the same stuff as us bud. I believe the quality is about 10 times better. You talk alot, but how true are you.

Umm im 100% true of my words, the qual is still overly too bright and the colors arent that good. It went through alot of filters as you can see, and if they were smart they would of cropped, sound still aint amazing..My ratings are perfectly fine, except for u dicksuckers that know shit.

pHo, thanks for clearing that up. a bunch of people on here THINK they know a lot, but really they're just talking out of their asses. if you don't know firsthand, don't say it. that's why most of this shit gets spread around.
as for the movie, i say 7/7/10. i couldn't tell if it was cropped or not, i really don't care, but it's WAY better than FTF's version. i think people are rating this much higher because they got so sick of the FTF rls. fine by me. eco deserves the scores.
