Awesome . 9/9/8. Only an 8 on the movie cause it wasnt gory enough in my opinion Silence Of The Lambs >Hannibal > Red Dragon but still worth watching.

The only problem with this release is the time index in the top corner and the "property of dreamworks studio" label in the middle of the entire movie. For many people those two faults in the movie can be annoying. Unfortunately I downloaded the movie before the jpg was put up on vcdquality. Other then that the release kicks @$$. The movie was really well done. It's based on a book by a chinese writer, I think. The book did really well too.

Hats off to TCF for another excellent release. This has to rank right up there with Red Dragon for scary movies this year.

Mak.

I just wish they would have used the right TITLE for calling this release. NOT a Screener, but WORKPRINT. The time code is what a workprint has on it, and a screener only has property rights pop up from time to time. This is just a test release, and VHS at that from the tape balance at the begging that was adjusted. Good film but NOT for the arcives as the final, that's why they should use the damn right heading for what it is..sheeze!!!!!!!

nope, im afraid you're wrong. a timecode is perfectly acceptable for a screener, along with property messages, b&w segments etc. in fact, every single screener tape i ever watched in the uk has been timecoded, its just down to the distributer what 'extras' a screener ships with. personally i dont mind timecodes cos i dont have a watch

Most of MGM's DVD SCREENERS have timecodes so are they dvd workprints? LOL, I've seen a countless amount of retail screeners bought from ebay (yes, the actual vhs retail screeners with cover and all) and some even have timecodes like Orange County. And as pHo said, 90% of uk screeners also have timecodes.

This is a pretty good release, being alittle dark and the fast motion scenes dont look good. The audio is ok for what it is.
This is missing scenes.
I would advise getting the UTi release if you can.

A good release. Nice, crisp picture and great audio. The 'Property Of...' that stays on for the entire movie is annoying as hell. But it doesn't bother me anyway as this movie is a FUCKING PILE OF SHIT!

7/7/3

Well I happen to be dling tcf's the ring at this present moment. I had a cam of it a month ago (cannot remember who made it) and was disappointed with the picture, but now I'm looking forward to this one. You can always trust tcf screeners!!
