Even on a standalone DVD player the picture is very dark. I've never seen a telecine this dark. And, yes, the movie is dark, but not that dark.
Anyone who says that the audio does not go out of sync did not watch the whole movie. It only goes out of sync for maybe 10 minutes towards the end, but it couldn't have gone out at a worse time. It happens during the final action sequence, so if you if like hearing punches and gun shots a second after seeing it, then by all means keep calling this a perfect telecine.
