Hi everyone,
This deffinately doesn't hold up the standard that Centropy was noted for, it was that standard that lead them to first use that intro on their 2002 Spiderman release, while everyone else was... lets say, "on the down low" , due to a series of unfortunate events that year, hence the theme and content of the intro, (note the HP title).
Whoever wrote this was an older intro is correct except they were actually doing both VCD's and SVCD's, remember the SVCD standard was relatively new.
HypoLuxa, on their very next release, after they used this intro, they used the 64 start up screen, it was very funny, considering. For the life of me I can't remember what that release was though.
The thing is it looks like they had to download this intro off a TMD site, lol, it's no where near it's original quality, if anyone has the first Spiderman release by them in their archive dig it out and you'll see how good it use to look.
As for this release I must say this is only slightly better than the cams in the dark scenes, but overly contrasted in the daylight scenes, the one thing it has going for it is that the source was good enough to encode to SVCD resolution.
As for a TC of this I'm with XAVeRY, not sure how it would look, certainly not a Russian TUN TC, that just wouldn't cut it.
HaLiKuS, I feel this was far better than High Tension as to keeping the plot, HT's plot falls apart at the Gas Station if you think about it, ( not a spoiler).
vid - 5 ( almost hard to believe Centropy even did this kind of work)
aud - 8
mov - 8
