Looks to me the source is a poorly mastered R3 DVD Scr that is really in the end just a TC (as all DVDs are one way or another). Besides a few extremes of dark and high contrast very nice for the speed.

Also, ive seen numerous copys of this with foreign audio that all look like roughly the same video source in one way or another. But this is English, and Bob Hoskins in German was way too creepy. Jet Li in English is kinda creepy too....

First off that German dvdscr is old, and does nothing for someone like myself who does not speak German. Now to this release. Definitely better than the copy I picked up this morning by LeXus, seeing as it was a cam I believe. Will rate once I get the full release.

Really nice release, nice video and great sound.

The video on this and the "DVD-Screeners" both look like good Telecine to me, but it is possible they are just poorly mastered DVD's.

The audio is nice and sounds too good to be anything but DVD or DTS sourced sound.

A TC can be 30fps, it might not be recorded that way, but you can easily slow it down from 25fps to 24 and add a Pulldown.

It's not weird, it's something called GOOD.

This was Jet Li's ONLY (IMO) truely good movie from the US/UK...
Partly because Morgan Freeman did a wonderful job so did that cutie victoria

This look a very nice release, it looks to me like a dvdscr, i could not care less if it was or was not, its still good quality. Sound is good and i only watched about 20 mins of the film, nice to see some english actors in here aswell.
