I agree, its too damn dark. I watch the movie in theatres when it came out, I must say, I thought the whole movie was pretty bright except for about 15 minutes worth, mainly the beginning and when they are in their house using candles at night.

I've told you all before that some movies look dark in other TVs compared to mine. This movie was pretty damn dark on my own TV! I could just imagine how it would look if I took it to someone elses house!

This is just not worth it!

I thought this was a centropy release; what happened??

video sucks (far too dark, alittle too cropped), audio is good (clear)...i'll wait for a better release, thx anyway CTP.

Why is everyoneone getting so upset with the frank reviews. I don't think anyone has an axe to grind. The movie is damm dark . If you dont want to be cursing all the time close your eyes and listen to the dialogue. The fight scenes are watchable under the floodlights.

Thanks for post of this movies but I have to say that I had to stop watching dueto darkness..TOO DARK to wathc.

The Audio was excellent. Keep it coming. I hope the next release will be much better.

If its dark on the TV change your color settings from warm to medium.. or default depending on the TV.. watched the sample only because i dont have high speed internet yet..

Not sure whats got into centropy lately there I robot ,after the sun, constantine and other great releases seem to be slipping away. House of wax and this one are way to dark with alot of noise in the dark areas which means turning the brightness up doesnt help still best release so far though.

Sound is perfect...I have a 46 inch LCD TV and couldn't see anything in alot of scenes...Sorry but this don't get my vote ..

Unwatchable, turned it off after about 15 mins. Audio was very clear though so this one will do nicely for blind members of the forum.

Dark but then again what do you expect from a TS where some of the scenes are shot in the dark anyway. Besides the main scenes weren't that bad with the flood lights in the ring, and there weren't that many parts which were unwatchable with darkness.

This is DEFINATELY the best release so far. However, it is somewhat too dark. That makes this movie a little difficult to watch. The Audio seemed to be dead on and very nice. The video didnt glitch or anything. It played very nice. With it beening a little too dark, its kinda difficult to watch, but definately not impossible. This is the release I am going to watch in full. Thanks alot Centropy!! Keep Em Coming. And good job. I think imma reencode it and turn the brightness up

Way too dark, audio decent. Really, really dark. Darkest video I've ever seen. I dl before too many votes were in, assuming CTP would be decent. My mistake. BTW it's too dark in a lot more than 10 minutes of the movie.

whats funny is half these kids that get mad about these releases are charging money for these copies. cough * loser * cough

movie was fine from a pirated point of view

movie was a little dark at the beginning to the point you could only make out who was talking by the definition of their voices..but once the daylight hits you get to see all...so thats not too bad guys...stop your mental retardation

and no you dont miss the movie cuz of its darkness, only kids and frustrated daddies miss the whole point to the movie cuz they turn the thing off before its over...

who cares how crowe's face is twisted into his words as he talks to dumb zellewager.....do you really all think that this part of the movie "makes" the movie.....no...it doesnt

Yes the movie is dark, especially the first 20 minutes. After CD1 it did seem to improve some, I got a little agrevated at first but it turned out ok for a TS. I've seen MUCH worse!

Video - first 20 minutes = Watchable (5)
Audio - Not bad at all and in sync (7)
Movie - I really enjoyed it, but then I am a boxing fan (8.5)

just my 2 cents, take it or leave it for the next fool!
