I think its because the sub's aren't burnt into the movie. On the episode 1 dvd the alien language sub's can be turned on and off. I think that's why they are not this release.

Retarded Idiot!

MODERATOR EDIT: This type of personal flaming has no place in this forum. Take it to the correct forum. And perhaps you should go out for some air. Way to much hostility about nothing .

Ghost of Mars and crap you are talking about.
Those are TELECINES. They are different. Noob!

And most sceners know thats ESOTERiC is TCF's TS/LiMITED line.
So instead of trying to be smart, please do some research.
It is pretty easy to dupecheck things if u want to.

FF was a SCR, and Ghost of Mars was a TC, sorry , both were ***VCDs***, and that is the POINT. They are not NEW to the VCD scene as some of you seem to think! ...and are sorely wrong.

fool

To those wondering about the whole retail having different things in it. Well, there were 2 versions of star wars released into the cinemas, a standard version which was to be displayed in "normal" film operated cinemas, while an extended cut which was shown in digital cinemas, which had little differences and some extra footage added. I believe that the dvd will contain the "digital" cut of the film...which i'll confirm after i watch it

great release TCF but you think you can release one in FS? This is kind of narrow even for a WS.

So is a re-release in due to do the lack of subtitles ment to be in the movie? That seems kinda important to leave out in a svcd collector like this

FS star wars, i thought that was sacrilige, Lucas always films in 2.35:1, if you experience it at a cinema its fantastic, but on small 4:3 TV's its a bit of a strain, but FS is going a bit far.

I remember the shit Xtreme took because it release Resident Evil in FS, is no one ever happy, u want FS go TS, u want the movie in as near to its original state as possible at the moment, this is it video wise, audio wise the DIVX version kicks ass but the video quality isnt great.

All you have to do is do a ZOOM with your dvd player or TV.. it cuts off portions of the side to make it resemble exactly what a FS picture is like.. cause you always loose some footage in FS, unless it was never released in cinema

Props for the quick release and excellent quality.
I'm sick of these widescreen! (Panic Room/Star Wars.. etc) How do you expect us to enjoy a action flick when the screen only cover 35% of the tv, the black bars cover the rest. Not everyone has a 52 inch tv, I have a 32 inch trinitron and the screen is so small!! I can barely make out the faces. I'm not asking for a fullscreen, but do you have to make the widescreen so small? Make it so the black bar only cover 25% of the screen, please!

Yeah zooming works great, i used to use it in the bedroom when i watched on a 14inch TV, only thing with DVD its bearable on SVCD quality starts to suffer badly, better to make it 1:85.1 rather than FS
