How many shows have been aired?
I have downloaded only two .
the last one I viewed had the young guy named Shaheen Jafargholi and a sax player named Julian Smith as the top two.
It's my understanding that BGT airs on Sat. night so I start my DL search Sat.night around 9 (PM). you guys have 3 hr. on us here

The show of` course doesn't air in the US. there is a show called American Idol showing here now in the US. It has Simon Cowell as a judge. I have wondered if he flys back and forth that much.
OH yes the talent on American Idol has no talent compared to what I have seen on the British show.
the contestants on American Idol has some smart asses that talk back to the judges, they get voted off the next week they seem to be to stupid to catch on as to why.
Later on in the year we have Americas got Talent with Piers Morgan as one of the Judges but that doesn't start until some time in June or July.
I didn't think Piers meant the one show that had just aired. The day before, I thought he was talking about the upcoming season. he may have even said season .
I don't know if i can find it again to listen to but I'll try.

(nope) Just came from the MSNBC web site .
the Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan video has been removed.
that was awfully fast. Maybe Piers fessed up to something he shouldn't have.

The worst thing about BGT is the editing.It does my head in.
It's either focused on the judges or you get a snippet of the act from all angles.

Actually, as a bit of a history lesson (cos you might be interested, stranger things have happened )...

American Idol started as part of the "Idol" TV franchise started by Pop Idol in the UK in 2001. The rights were owned by Simon Fuller and Simon Cowel was one of the judges. There were spin-off shows across the world including American Idol but the UK version was canned after season 2 and Simon Cowel introduced "X-Factor" which is basically the same format as the Idol shows and landed him in court cos of it (they eventually settled out of court). In 2007 Simon Cowel brought Britains Got Talent to our screens and now he's inflicting that on you... Simon Cowel is more than a smug twat with terrible dress sense and is more camp than a row of pink tents - he's taking over TV

she had a slight mess up right at the start.

surprised no one mentioned it.

now come on she does hit some hard to hit notes.
has a very nice to listen to voice, but that's probably the song choice and style.

Is not rock and roll .

but the type Elaine Page or Barbara Streisand would sing.
sort of projecting class when Susan Boyle has none of it but when she sings.
