Are you trying to say that the picture is squished somehow, meaning there's a problem with the release? Or do you just not like watching 2.35:1 movies letterboxed?

I'm On Da TV, Am I?

Wow

IMO this has to be one of the best, if not the best TS I have ever downloaded. See-Tee-Pee had some nice releases in their day, but I think they figured their comeback would be mesermizing, but it seems like Tee-See-Eff might be the new king's of TS. This is an amazing rip, we shouldn't see another TS of this at all, it's about as good as they come!

Video is off to the right a bit, but nothing to bitch about at all, at least it's WS.

The audio is definetely one of the best audios I have heard ever. Almost like being in the theatre...not quite but close if you have Surround.

If you have any other copies (ie. FTF, ECO), throw them bitches out the window, this one's a keeper.

P.S. It would have been great if Tee-Cee-Eff had ripped the freestyles for this one in MP3, but mehh, anyone could do it themselves!
Congrats all around for a nice release!

TCF RULEZ ALL.

Yes, it's very good but not even close to being DVD-ish. A SVCD-DVD-RIP is barely DVD-ish. So, lets not get too carried away. May be you watched too many bootleg VCD's that you forgot what a real DVD looks like.

I just got done watching it. It's not DVDRip quality, but it's pretty good as a VCD. I didn't get a chance to check the SVCD sample but I'd be interested in seeing it. It seemed like the vid was blocky on some lines. The color's a little dark but understandable for a TS. And there's noticable noise on the second cd, didn't notice too much of it on the first...

All that said, an excellent release. You really can't ask for much better than this besides a DVD screener. Very sexy, and expected of TCF's high standards. Thanks for a great job and keep em coming

I think you should do all your future ts's in svcd format. It's all about svcd. While you're at it, do all your vhs screeners, and all other releases in svcd. you've always been able to make some of the best quality standard vcd's, let's see some svcd's!

I was waiting for a good release of this movie, the last thing i thought it would be is a TS and the last people i thought would release a TS is TCF.

Well done guys you must have been practising this one, picture is good. Sound is spot on, i could hear a buzzing at the beginning but it goes when the other sound kicks in.

As for the VCD/SVCD thing personally i'd prefer VCD from a TS, i havent seen the SVCD sample but there's a limit to what the quality can be on a TS.

Still this is a sweet release so keep it up

SVCD for sure

In my opinion, TCF should release in the SVCD format, here's why-

1: SVCD has a variable bitrate, so less pixelation in action scenes.

2: The resolution of an SVCD is greater than a VCD so the picture isn't strecthed as much to make it full screen, again causing less pixelation.

I'm not really bothered about SVCD format TeleSyncs...

Because it's not really going to be that much better, and I doubt they'll do it... because if they don't do SVCD for their screeners, then they probably aren't going to do it for their TeleSyncs .

Besides its just a waste of bandwidth/space and a CD...

although personally i agree that TS's should be VCD, you should be aware that the reason why groups use SVCD on TS's & not SCR's is because the TS comes from DV, and so theoretically you might squeeze a bit more out of the TS using SVCD. the SCR, on the other hand, coming (usually) from VHS, is already set well below the limit of quality for an SVCD, and so (IMO) there's no point to it at all (with the exception of SCR's that come from an SVHS source, which is rare).

Credit

All Credit to TCF for this fine release. I had to come out of my dark corner and say:-

Welcome back TCF you've been missed!

Feedback

1. SVCD please but no 3CD releases.

2. Widescreen aspect is the only way to go. I mean whats the point of watching a movie on your damn monitor?

Thx

Thumbs up nice, very damn nice.

Impressed. Very good quality for a telesync.

As for the VCD vs. SVCD, i´d personally prefer SVCD. TS´s of this kinda quality is a good enough source for the higher res of SVCD.

Great release guys, really appreciated.

Sound quality is very good on this copy. A little background noise in parts, but minus the noise, the sound is still crisp and clear, not hollow. They could've filtered the noise a bit but eh... no big deal.

Another One! We're all cheap enough as it is just stealing all our movies, but to not be able to spare another cd, that's just sad. I know the quality difference from svcd to vcd in a ts won't be huge, but vcd is garbage. whenever someone/something moves, the surrounding area just goes to shit. The pixelation can make it so bad, it's not even worth watching (I'm not insulting tcf or any other group that does vcd releases, I'm expressing an opinion on the format). The SVCD can clean that up in a ts, and if it does, it's served it's purpose.
